Description
What is it
Mukurattai (Boerhavia diffusa) is a creeping herb with small pinkish flowers that spreads across roadsides and open ground after the rains. In Sanskrit it is Punarnava.
Siddha and Ayurveda value it as a restorative herb, and in many Tamil villages the tender greens are cooked as mukurattai keerai. We clean, dry and finely mill the herb.
What Makes This Different
- Carefully cleaned. A ground-creeping herb gathers soil easily, so we clean it thoroughly before drying.
- Single herb. Only mukurattai, nothing added.
- Single ingredient. 100% Mukurattai, with no fillers, flavouring or blending agents.
What It Does
- A restorative herb of tradition. Valued in Siddha and Ayurveda for restorative wellness.
- A village keerai. Its tender greens are cooked into simple keerai dishes.
- Mild and earthy. Easy to take in buttermilk or warm water.
- The herb that renews itself. Punarnava means “becomes new again”: it dries back in the summer heat and springs up fresh with the first rains.

The FounditGood Promise
For more than a decade, from our home in Pollachi at the foot of the Western Ghats, we have prepared Siddha and Ayurvedic herbs for families across India and customers in many countries around the world. Every pouch carries the same quiet promise: the right herb, prepared the right way.
- Traditional knowledge, carried forward. We prepare each herb the way South Indian tradition intends: the right plant part, cleaned, dried and processed with care.
- Sourcing we can stand behind. A deeply integrated supply chain, built over years with growers and gatherers we know, keeps every herb traceable and every batch consistent.
- Stone-ground, in small batches. Our herbs are ground slowly on stone and in small quantities, so each batch is carefully watched from start to finish.
- Clean label, clean process. Nothing added, nothing hidden: no fillers, colours, flavours or preservatives, made in an FSSAI Central Licensed, GMP-compliant, ISO 22000-certified facility.
- Independently checked. Our products are periodically tested by independent third-party laboratories.
- An ethical commitment. Honest labels, careful work and a refusal to cut corners on quality, because we would rather make less than make it worse.
- Appreciated by those who use it. Customers at home and abroad keep coming back, and their trust is the standard we hold ourselves to.
