When the murungai tree (Moringa oleifera) flowers, it is covered in small, creamy-white blossoms with a faint honey scent. Tamil cooks stir them into poriyal and egg dishes before they can turn into drumsticks.

Our tea is made from the dried flowers alone, for a gentle, slightly sweet cup.

How to Use It

To brew: Steep one dip bag in a cup (about 150 ml) of freshly boiled water for 5 to 7 minutes. Add a little honey or palm jaggery if you like. Enjoy one cup a day.

Storage: Keep in an airtight container, away from heat, light and moisture.
