Description
What is it
Kuppaimeni (Acalypha indica), Indian copperleaf, is a small, everyday herb that grows almost anywhere, even on rubbish heaps (kuppai), which is how it got its Tamil name. In Sanskrit it is called Haritamanjari.
In Tamil homes it has long been ground into a paste for traditional skin care, often with turmeric. Our powder is made for that same external use.
What Makes This Different
- Single herb. Only kuppaimeni, nothing added.
- Fine for pastes. Milled fine to make a smooth paste with water.
- Single ingredient. 100% Kuppaimeni, with no fillers, flavouring or blending agents.
What It Does
- A traditional skin-care herb. Valued in South Indian tradition for skin and botanical wellness.
- The classic paste. Mixed with turmeric and water and applied to the skin.
- Fresh and green. A mild, leafy scent.
- A cat’s favourite. Cats are famously drawn to kuppaimeni roots, rolling in them the way they do with catnip, which is why it’s also called cat’s delight.

The FounditGood Promise
For more than a decade, from our home in Pollachi at the foot of the Western Ghats, we have prepared Siddha and Ayurvedic herbs for families across India and customers in many countries around the world. Every pouch carries the same quiet promise: the right herb, prepared the right way.
- Traditional knowledge, carried forward. We prepare each herb the way South Indian tradition intends: the right plant part, cleaned, dried and processed with care.
- Sourcing we can stand behind. A deeply integrated supply chain, built over years with growers and gatherers we know, keeps every herb traceable and every batch consistent.
- Stone-ground, in small batches. Our herbs are ground slowly on stone and in small quantities, so each batch is carefully watched from start to finish.
- Clean label, clean process. Nothing added, nothing hidden: no fillers, colours, flavours or preservatives, made in an FSSAI Central Licensed, GMP-compliant, ISO 22000-certified facility.
- Independently checked. Our products are periodically tested by independent third-party laboratories.
- An ethical commitment. Honest labels, careful work and a refusal to cut corners on quality, because we would rather make less than make it worse.
- Appreciated by those who use it. Customers at home and abroad keep coming back, and their trust is the standard we hold ourselves to.
