Description

What is it

Musumusukkai (Mukia maderaspatana) is a small creeper of the cucumber family, with soft, fuzzy leaves and bright red berries no bigger than peas. ‘Musu musu’ is the Tamil word for that soft, hairy feel.

Tamil kitchens add its leaves to dosai and rasam, and Siddha tradition values it for respiratory and seasonal wellness. Our tea is made from the dried leaves alone.

What Makes This Different

  • Leaf only. Made from musumusukkai leaf alone, nothing else.
  • Gentle and green. A mild, soft-flavoured cup.
  • Naturally caffeine-free. Pure herb, with no tea leaves, flavourings or sweeteners.

What It Does

  • A traditional Siddha leaf. Valued for respiratory and seasonal wellness.
  • From the kitchen to the cup. The same leaf that goes into musumusukkai dosai.
