What is it

Karisalankanni (Eclipta prostrata, also known as Eclipta alba) is a small herb with white, daisy-like flowers that grows in damp fields and along water channels. Ayurveda calls it Bhringraj, ‘king of hair’.

It is best known in hair oils, and Siddha tradition also takes it as a daily herb. Our tea is made from the dried herb.

How to Use It

To brew: Steep one dip bag in a cup (about 150 ml) of freshly boiled water for 5 to 7 minutes. Add a little honey or palm jaggery if you like. Enjoy one cup a day.

Storage: Keep in an airtight container, away from heat, light and moisture.
