What is it

Sangu poo (Clitoria ternatea) is a climbing vine with vivid blue flowers shaped a little like a conch shell, which is where its Tamil name, ‘conch flower’, comes from. In Sanskrit it is Aparajita, ‘the unconquered’.

The flowers brew into a deep blue cup, and Ayurveda has long valued the plant for calm and everyday wellness. Our tea is made from the dried flowers alone.

How to Use It

To brew: Steep one dip bag in a cup (about 150 ml) of freshly boiled water for 5 to 7 minutes. Add a little honey or palm jaggery if you like. Enjoy one cup a day.

Storage: Keep in an airtight container, away from heat, light and moisture.
