Senna (Cassia angustifolia) forms flat, papery, pale-green pods after its yellow flowers fade. South Tamil Nadu grows it so well that the crop became known worldwide as Tinnevelly senna.
Siddha and Ayurveda value senna as an occasional aid rather than an everyday habit. Our tea is made from the dried pods alone.

How to Use It
To brew: Steep one dip bag in a cup (about 150 ml) of freshly boiled water for 5 to 7 minutes. Use only on occasion, one cup at bedtime; not for daily or long-term use.
Storage: Keep in an airtight container, away from heat, light and moisture.
