Description

What is it

Nochi (Vitex negundo) is a tall, aromatic shrub with leaves divided like an open hand, usually into five leaflets, silver-grey beneath. In Sanskrit it is Nirgundi and Sindhuvara.

Siddha and Ayurveda have long valued nochi leaf for mobility and flexibility, and Tamil homes also hang its branches to keep insects away. Our tea is made from the dried leaves.

What Makes This Different

  • Leaf only. Made from nochi leaf alone, nothing else.
  • Aromatic and warming. A pungent, herbal cup with a peppery note.
  • Naturally caffeine-free. Pure herb, with no tea leaves, flavourings or sweeteners.

What It Does

  • A traditional Siddha leaf. Valued for mobility and flexibility.
  • A herb with many household uses. From steam baths to grain storage, nochi has many jobs in Tamil homes.

A Leaf Shaped Like an Open Hand

Nochi grows along village boundaries and riverbanks, its silver-backed leaves catching the light. FounditGood Nochi Herbal Tea brings this busy household herb into your cup.
